Simurg Sea x Mabou: A Summer Collaboration

Simurg Sea, the coastal haven of Simurg Inn, welcomes summer with a new culinary collaboration. In partnership with Istanbul’s distinctive restaurant Mabou, it offers a menu rooted in simplicity, seasonality, and respect for the Northern Aegean’s natural bounty.

Led by founders Cem Ekşi and Pınar Karasu, Mabou presents a taste-driven experience away from the city’s chaos. Expect tandır-cooked meats with garden herbs, lobster-stewed beans from the wood oven, butter-rich fish with Kemah salt, and more—each dish a refined tribute to nature.

By day, Mabou Beach offers a relaxed menu of club sandwiches, focaccias, seasonal fruit tarts, and vibrant mezes like cumin hummus and sweet-spicy muhammara. Evenings feature a Mediterranean-inspired menu where every ingredient is handled with care and integrity.

Getting to Mabou Beach

Just a 10-minute drive from Simurg Inn, Mabou Beach is open from May to October. We offer transfers with electric Volvo vehicles—please notify us at least one hour in advance to avoid waiting.
